Future girl
I’m waiting,
living,
Hoping through each cycle.
as the moon and the sun change shifts through the day
I’m waiting.
I’m not going out of my way like I used to do.
wasting money without a clue,
to have it slammed in my face.
I’m done writing love poems,
That end up turning on me.
Ripping my heart asunder,
As I’m forced to face another blunder.
I’ll save it all.
For the one God gives to me,
Just as he gives me to her.
I’m waiting for my future girl.
