Letdown

Just another letdown,
that's all he was to her,
someone to get her hopes up,
now she's left to find a cure;
to stop the tears,
unleash her fears
and mend her battered heart.
It's a bit banged up and bruised,
that's all
She'll make it through,
she's tough.
The only part that really hurts,
is knowing...
she wasn't good enough.
