The Feeling
The feeling
A light touch
Made me hold my breath
It was but merely the brush of a feather
Yet it felt like a dozen burdens pulling down
When you touched
It felt that way
when you left
A feeling as though
A thousand earthquakes as hit
The aftermath just as likely
It was unbelievable the destruction caused
Not even after hours preceding the presence
Did I realize it was actually even there
Something so precious
Something so real
Yet surreal at the same time
Did it even exist
Or was I imagining like the constant other times
That I sat there and saw you coming at me
Laughing with me
Wiping away my tears
Just holding me
There it is again
A light touch
The feeling
