Hence poetry is something more philosophic and of graver importance than history, since its statements are rather of the nature of universals, whereas those of history are singulars. - Aristotle

-Rick Riordan

My mind is like a river.
Flowing a top lethal timbers.
Drain on down the misty way,
Hit someone hard if they stay.
Then I know the tide did no harm.
The timbers no damage to cause alarm.
i plead for them to cross.
Yet they still flee not far.
How far must I ask?
How long must this last?
My mind is like a river.
in any weather I am danger.
Please stay far stay a stranger.
Much like a river that you claim to know.
Ever changing currents let you never know.
My mind is like a river...

Sometimes life just makes you feel alone. Yes it is easy to push people away. This is about that, keep pushing people away no matter how lonely you get.
