There’s something about Diners,
Cozy, warm, the soft conversation,
The clinking of knives and forks
There’s a sweet peacefulness
Over bacon and eggs.
No one can go wrong with:
A swift sip of cranberry juice,
Or a munch on some pancakes.
We all talk about our lives,
Confessing over cornflakes.
Eye to eye, it’s calm
We can all relax, and
Just be one with the toast.
