A Clock Without Time
I’m numb
From icy winds
Drowning
In this distance
Desperate
For your hand
Crying
On this desolate land
Fighting
To live without you
Watching
The passing of June
Dazed
Another summer passing by
Waiting
To your soul I confide
Dreaming
Of awaking from this fog
Clings
Hands that choke, a whispering mock
Tears
Feathers, stone
Walking
Flesh and bone
A soft sigh
Your soul calls to me
Breathing
At last, my blood sings free
A kiss
Hearts are one
Lingering
Forever, we long
Drifting
Into black sleep
Light
Shed by our heart’s keep
Held
Eternally within our being
Love
We are so gently feeding
Growth
Beyond the eye
Hope
Never knows the concept of time
You
Are everything, my all
Listening
I forever return your heart’s call
Time falls away
And we wait
Until the day
We open our heaven, love’s gait.
