I'm Living for Me
What am I missing
When I sit here in school?
 Sit nice and quiet
 I follow the rules
When I’m up late doing homework
 Instead of some guy
 I don’t bother sneaking out,
 Don’t know how to lie.
 I don’t have a dark side
No black spots to be found
But as far as I see it,
 I’m winning this round
In the theater with my friends
 Not some empty dark corner
But I have respect for myself
More than he has for her
 I have plenty of time
To let loose and be wild
 But as for myself
 I’m still a child
 I don’t need a boy
 There’s time for that later
 I’m busy with myself
 I’m my own books writer!
