Lipton Iced Tea
My eyes are dry
My senses are low
I’m wearing my heart on my sleeve
My hands are shaking cold
Lies that you’ve told me
And fake promises you made
You really don’t see
Even though you comments
Were directed straight at me
Pushing away the pain
Is a daily task
Trying to find beauty is life
But misery is the only thing that last
I live in such a broken world
Where am I supposed to go?
My fake joy is wearing off
The slits on my wrist
Are no longer enough.
