Another View of Her Heart
Nobody heard the cries from her heart,
Nobody noticed her pain
Outside she was calm,
Yet inside she was screaming
The people may say
“Everything she ever wants,
Is sitting on her lap”
But no, they’re wrong.
There’s something missing
She’s got it all,
The beauty,
The grace,
“But why can’t they understand?
They have everything they need,
And I don’t think they see,
Me?
No.
I haven’t got a thing.”
