Friends will come
Family will leave
Relationships you come by
Not always will deceive
Everybody goes away
But new people will arrive
It's all a part
Of a cycle I call Life.
What is here
Will someday fade
Disappear
And go away.
But what goes away
Comes back around
As they say "What goes up
Must come down."
Where people leave
Silence grows
A hole where there
Once was sound.
But silence fades
Back to a tone
Silence is never quiet
At least not for long.
Everything changes
it knows no promised bounds
All the possibilities
Around you they surround
But from the bend in the road
You won't see what comes
And goes
