Hidden in plain sight
My mind steeped in fright
I'm hollow inside
In this hole I hide
To my cave I run
To block out the sun
The night is my friend
My sorrows it mends
The blade of a knife
The ending of life
The roar of a gun
There's nowhere to run
I'm running in place
I'm losing the race
The demons have won
Their hunt is now done
