No one can make you feel inferior without your consent- Eleanor Roosevelt

Sitting in the shower
The water bullets my skin
I reach and turn the heat up
And let it consume me in

I think about the day
And what I could have said
I think about your ways
And wish that I were dead

My skin begins to blister
Under the intense hot water
He treats me like a sister
Or even worse, like a daughter

Your arrogance and charm
What is it that makes me this way?
You’re leading me into harm
But I can’t stay away

Now my skin is broken and red
Marked by your love curse
All the lies that I was fed
How many times did you rehearse?

Innocence is a privilege
You stole mine away
All your worries are your image
My heart begins its decay

I know you love me
I know you cared
Drugs and money
Left me unprepared

I turn off the water
A feat admired by Hercules
I wish I made it hotter
But I know, its time for me to leave

Thanks for the ride
You hardhearted p****
At least I have my pride
While drugs take away your d***

My boyfriend was the funniest greatest guy ever. Too bad he turned out to be a total asshole. It didn't matter to me that I was caucasian and he was asian, we were great. But then he changed. So I wrote this in the memories we had together, and hope everyone realises that when someone you love changes, you don't need to change with them, it's better to let go.
