Accepting a Brokenheart

I did what I thought was best at the time
My heart holds all my secrets
The truth resides in my mind
The remnants of my soul you once set afire
No longer for you does it desire
Closed my eyes and laid my head on the grass covered in morning dew
Yet no matter where I run
Everything reminds me of you
Disappointed I discovered the truth behind it all
Your tales, each unique, every one tall
Unfortunately having no choice but to accept this and move on
Tomorrow's joy comes with the rising of a new dawn
