To face what I've been avoiding
A year has come and gone
and so many things have changed
day by day
nothing changes
but looking back...
nothing's quite the same.
the time has come
I can't hold on
it's time for me to leave
my head says yes
my heart says no
but I can't do it like this anymore
it's hard to face the facts
knowing that nothing will be the same again
it's hard to face the fact
that we'll barely even be friends
but i'll be around
you can count on that for sure
it's time for me to go
but before I do
