Elegy For Love
She used to be so prevalent.
A positive dictator.
Her reign took place when,
Black and White,
Murderer and Preacher,
Beggar and wealthy all held hands.
The growth of earth continued on,
Falling deeper and deeper
into the possible depths of no return.
This was when the competition between
artificial and faux as at its worst.
The values of humanity took a drastic change.
Love was dying.
But nothing ever really dies.
Ideas and memories always live on.
She touched and changed the lives of many,
and with that her legacy lives on.
Its an inherited legacy.
One that we all much choose whether to inherit,
or continue down the road to
disaster,
dismay,
and destruction.
