Purposes, traditions, questions and answers
A sun for light and seeing
Memories for what we saw and will see
Silver springs of thought and thinking
Sleep for loss and time to toss
And all of the beauty within
Cries that ties sanity’s bonds
A country to stand upon, then conquer
Choices of freedom, choices of death
To destroy whats owned and loaned
Always alone, from dust to dust
With the clay to hold it together
And on the sixth day, man was made.
