I gaze upon my home
The crackling sound
Shreiking—Screeching!—
Through my ears
The once amiable home
Is now splintered:
A gouged out vulnerable shell
Slivers of glass pertrude
From the ground
Like used syringes
My mother drags me away
She cannot bear to watch
I stand facinated.
No! Enchanted.
I laugh manically, but
My voice is strange
They put me is hand cuffs and
They take me
Away.
