In This Life
In this life the few things we know
We’re unsure of
So we create a sense of sciolism
To blur the line between the truth
And what we suppose
And the standard of learning is brought to an
Arbitrary minimum; and we have the guidelines
Of failure
But if we do succeed, through the impossible standards
Of not thinking for ourselves, we let the man think for us
And then we’ll have sycophants following us
Running in our shadows, dancing for us in an
Obsequious manner that we’re unsure of
But remember, nothing is sure
Except for the fact that we are here, they are there
And in this life the few things we know
We’re unsure of
