The melodies they twist and turn,
entwine our hearts and soar away.
The melodies they play in mind,
as we ourselves are led astray.
The grass beneath us drifts away,
the cool breeze sways my hair,
the sky becomes a velvet night,
I feel you everywhere.
And in the air between us,
the words they form and flow.
They wrap us close together,
and I don’t want you to go.
And in this soft-still moonlight,
I’ll love you as before.
I could say you complete me,
but I’m always wanting more.
