It’s been one year since I met you
It’s been one year since I met you,
And through all the laugher and the tears,
We never discovered that one of those,
Could make our friendship smear.
From watching T.V to taking part in games,
We always had such fun,
For with the secrets that we’ve had in common,
The fun has just begun.
We used to be together all the time,
Morning, noon, and night.
One day that all did change,
The day we had that fight.
What is different now from then?
Oh wait I know this one.
Once you traveled off to high school,
The change had just begun.
Now that we’re in different schools,
It’s not just like before.
We don’t chatter with each other like we used to,
I just can’t take it anymore.
From scribbling with crayons to biking around,
That is what we used to do,
But the only thing I know for sure,
Is that we will always be stuck like glue.
