The Vietnam Wall

And there on the wall of stone,
Lay the names of the fallen heroes,
In hopes that people would see them,
And remember what they did,
And remember that that wall was built for them,
And remember that as they walk along the path,
They are being watched over by the names on the wall,
Because that’s all that they are now,
Names on a wall.
