Alive Again
Just days before he talked with ease,
Singing about his family with joy.
But against our will death did deploy
Oh God why did you give him this disease?
Now as I watch the falling of leaves,
I know you’re up there watching your boys
Playing ball and fighting with toys.
Oh God why did you give him this disease?
No longer sick or sad,
But dancing on the streets of gold.
Although to you our hearts were sold;
So deep inside we are glad.
Even though mourning we have been.
We find joy for you are alive again.
