I've Tried to Explain

I've tried to explain not exacerbate the cause,
But now I think we're due for a little pause,
To recap the details,
I know that what I did was wrong,
And I know that you know that it's so hard,
Please ignore for a second while I bawl.
I've tried to contain all my loneliness and rage,
Spending my life living on a stage,
Spewing false emotions,
I've tried and I've tried to be myself but I'd die just to hide my inner Hell,
And now I think I'm sick of the charade.
(But nothing will ever really change)
