Reflection
You’re sad, I can feel it.
You’re weak, I can feel it.
When you’re strong, I can feel it
When you’re content, I can feel it
When you succeed, I can feel it
reading through your thoughts as I
wonder when you think them
invading the depths of your mind
and understanding them
peeking into the darkness
and seeing
walking through knives
and not bleeding
Fighting in the fire and
breathing
Then I look in the mirror
and I blink
to take the sting
of your tears away.
