The Liar's Recurrence
The Silver-tongued liar lies.
But despite his guise,
He is exulted above the rest.
Fortune, fame, and love has he
So long as he does mystery.
The truth is dull,
But his stomach full
To those who know home best.
If truth should surge, then all would hate
To know the extent of what he sees as fate.
But fate is chance, so long as he
Casts an iron-tongued armory.
Falsehood precedes him, lest
Pity precedes those who know him best.
His curse keeps him ever-beneath the rest.
