When I SIng

I release the air from my chest,
Like a bird out of it's cage.
It reaches high.
It goes past the clouds.
Past the moon.
Beyond the universe.
Beyond me.
I reach for it.
I push for it.
I strive for it.
Then it comes back.
It swirls around me.
It wraps it's tune around me.
I'm lost in the melody.
I am my dream.
I am everything I want to be
when I
sing.
