Shining from the Heavens
Casting shadows on the ground
Making even the dullest object look full of life.
Burning, and blinding us, just like Life
Yearning to find us out
Bringing all our secrets to the light.
We can’t hide from it, for it is always there
Lighting up the world.
How can we escape from the bright light?
The golden rays shine through us,
And capture every emotion
Draining us.
Then it is finally here,
Dusk, when the sun goes away,
Only to be replaced by the moon,
Burning, and blinding us,
Just like Life
