Fake
Smiling outside, Crying within
Dreaming of how her life could have been
Eyes that sparkle in the light
Behind them filled with hurt and fright
Perfect body, clothes and style
Hiding self hatred all the while
Friends always by her side
But no one's ever been there to catch the tears she's cried
Everything she tries in success to sail
But to those who matter she could only fail
She puts her smile on everyday
Hoping to push the pain far away
People see the outside and thats all
No one will catch her when she finally does fall
Through the abuse she put on a front so brave
Until there was nothing left of her to save
A twinkle in her eye, a smile on her face
Already her soul is in its final resting place
