Upon the Sea
What I learned out on the sea
Was never really new to me.
The whales all spoke in different tongues
Much similar to our dialect—
But filled with waves of blue.
And the sun had masked the other fish
In shades of violet and yellow, too.
Each dolphin, I knew to be the intellects
Bright with answers to supply.
For my questions they all knew
Ever-eternal with perplexity to me.
I found my time to make it back to shore,
So with them I swam
And swam
Until we arrived upon our farewell.
And they were happy there
So I could tell.
