Rain
Rain hits the rooftops and falls onto the grass.
People locked up indoors staring into the world.
Faces blurred through the glass by rain drops.
So much work is to be done but the world is stopped now.
Calm has coated the world and everything is at rest.
Bitter fights and hate are all gone.
So much dreary weather yet so much peace.
The pitter patter of rain falls in rhythm.
The rain has stopped the world like a finger on a globe.
Still and silent now as people slip into thought.
Corporate meetings fail as people stare at the outside.
Rain falls from the sky as ambiguous droplets of emotion.
Saddening rain falls yet it is soothing.
The sun breaks through and life goes on.
Like nothing ever happened.
