Desperation
Hung in the air
Like the howling wind
Sinking into our cold skin
And you whisper gently
In my ear
No don’t do it
I love too much
I have so much care
I look at you frantically
Then look away
I start to close my eyes
To see the broken butterflies
But then I stay
Even though my heart is frayed
At the edges
Love shines through you
Like a radiant fire
Repairing edges
That was so blue
Even though the night seeps in my skin
I still return to see your face again
And turn away from divide that binds

wow its really awsome how you can write something really beautiful and you dont even rhyme but it sounds better than alot that do because you dont have to because the words are great and flow anyways
