I wonder about the music
I hear the lyrics
I see the conductor
I want to be in that band
I am musical and melodic
I pretend I am conducting
I feel the music flowing through me
I touch the notes
I worry about the sounds
I cry for the slow songs
I am musical and melodic
I understand how the songs go
I say play louder, play faster,
Play softer, play slower
I dream of conducting that band someday
I hope for the music to sound right
I am musical and melodic.
