Hoping for Silence is a Useless Thing
Hoping for silence is a useless thing.
In today's world there's always a
ring,
beep,
click,
boom,
bang,
snip-
The button is always on play,
no pause or stop.
If you're hoping for silence, you're out of luck.
The sounds surround you everywhere you go...
In your sleep,
when you're awake.
In your dreams...
It's all just too much.
Peace can only truly be found in your mind,
In the far inner reachings of your psyche.
When you put on mute the distractions, people, and worries you have built up inside of you...
And focus on the important things in life.
