Leaving
She is nervous while she waits.
All aboard the train of the future.
Leaving all familiarity behind
She presses her thumb against the ticket
And wonders if she really wants to go
She no one as she steps into the present
All composure completely gone
She wishes this was a dream and longs for her own soil.
She wont know anyone and people pass her silently.
She squeezes her eyes shut and takes a deep breath.
She opens her eyes.
