Honey the Guinea Pig

The guinea pig waddles
around the yard, and then
comes over here
to squeak for a carrot.
She is gold and white,
with short little legs
a sniffling nose,
and a hungry little stomach.
Honey gets her carrot
and runs to her cage
hoping for somewhere
to hide and eat.
So we put her in,
and she runs
into her guinea pig house
to munch on her carrot.
