My Worst Memory
I remember it, clear as day,
Actually, like it was yesterday.
It all started at about five
When I learned I had to go to school.
I felt like I was stuck in a hive
And when school started all we did was write.
So, later at home, I snuck out at night.
I sabotaged my teacher’s lesson plan
And I knew what to do because it was written on my hand.
The very next day,
My teacher seemed afraid
And I knew exactly why.
So I gave my friend a wink that caught her eye
When , all of a sudden, the teacher called my name
And at that moment, I realized my mistake
