Magic Notes
I don’t just hear it,
I feel it.
I feel it with every inch of my body.
It moves through me flawlessly,
Never stopping, never hindered, always present.
It is my anger,
It is my joy.
It is my thoughts and emotions,
My ideas and ambitions
Pounded out in a quest for expression.
Sometimes it makes me smile,
Sometimes it makes me frown.
Sometimes I burst into laughter,
And others into tears.
But always, it makes me whole.
It is not only the beating of my heart,
But also the blood that rushes through my veins.
It is essential,
It is life-changing,
And I am forever grateful for its magic.
Music.
