An Ode to my Trip to the Philippines
So many memories that I’ll never forget
The people, the surroundings, and simply the air
Everything about my trip to the Philippines
Will be remembered and cherished forever
The islands, villages, and jungles, green as green can be
The grass, the trees, with wind blowing lightly in their leaves
Waves in the sea, drizzling rain coming from a bright blue sky
Children smiling, satisfied with the little that they have
The city, buzzing with busyness
Crazy traffic with J-walkers on every street
Riding in a 15-seater van with no seatbelts
Smells all around, of fish, rain, and restaurants
So many exciting adventures that could never been redone
Traveling for two weeks with my closest friends
The whole time wishing that it would never end
Irreplaceable, unforgettable, simply amazing
