Life Isn't Fair
I’m tired of waiting
Of just sitting around
Thinking my words
But not making a sound
I want to share
But do not dare
Knowing no one will care
So I’ll just sit here
Talking to my teddy bear
Clutching it
Against my chest
Trying to hold together
The tear
That has been created there
Covering my tear filled eyes
With my hair
Watching my steps
So as not
To be caught
In a snare
And have my soul
Stripped bare
So everyone
Can stare
At what hides there
I tell you life,
Is just not fair
