Shield My Face
For only a moment could I see your face, and act like a shield from which you could not pass. And for that very moment I wished to unveil my face and let you see the beauty that was hiding behind neither cloth or metal. I wish to think of you despite all that I see shields you, but you are now hiding beneath a row of words and pictures, faces and hearts, love and hate, yet bags of broken mirrors which I could not hide your fate. Because I expected a certain bond between you and I, yet you spilled it upon her, which is my work shared on another. I know you... miss me.
