As I Walk Away
The tears I held back
Are now unleashed.
You can’t imagine the pain I’ve felt or
What I been through now you’ve called it quits
You take your last look
At what used to be the perfect girl
You used to love.
You say your goodbyes and slowly walk away
From a love you’ll never get back.
As days go by
My heart is breaking just by
Seeing you with her.
It gets harder and harder
To face but I keep my head held high.
Each day I see you and you take a glance at me
But I try to hide my pain with a smile.
