Too Tired to Sleep
When your eyes are guilty with greed
And everything you want and need is out of reach
There are things you see that shouldn’t be believed.
You can try to grasp the fact that your mind is intact
But it lacks the will to follow morals than forces you to tempt fate.
Playing games with tomorrow’s today will prove to be fatal
Causing you to be unstable and react with actions that are impossible
To come up with logical explanations for. So you try to cope inside yourself
But you can’t stand to be alone, can’t stand the empty shell after you sold your soul
To learn it’s all over before you could reap your rewards.
Time will continue to tick, the stars to shine but when you’re too blind
To see the light everyone’s life will pass you by.
