Death of a Loved One
Of pain and loss she knew naught,
Her smiling face bespoke innocent love.
But when all at once a loved one was lost,
She became like a hurt little dove.
Confused and forlorn, a little child
With no preparation was slung
Into the world, a world full of pain;
She cried as the church bells rung.
Who can heal small broken heart
And make her smile once more?
Her Daddy will carry her,
Her Heavenly Father redeem her,
And fill her with love to her core.
