Brandon, Brandon, you were so great to me,
If you would have lived, a greater hero you would be.
Brandon, Brandon, we wish you wouldn’t have gone;
You couldn’t spend very much time with your new-born son.
Brandon, Brandon, you were so very brave;
You fell asleep to early to be saved.
Brandon, Brandon, why did you have to go,
You sounded so fine but then you had to blow.
Brandon, Brandon, you did not see it coming,
The landmine was just waiting for something.
Brandon, Brandon, your family misses you so;
We are very sorry you had to go
