A Quilt
Refrain:
A quilt of many colors
We are each a part of it
Many parts of a whole
We each play an important role
One big happy family
The dad is the frame
Holding the quilt in place
While the quilt is changing and finishing
Will always stay the same
Mom is the thread
Connects us all together
Anything goes wrong there she is
There's always enough to go around
(Refrain)
The brother is the solid on the bottom
Not always the most attractive
Without him the rest of us would fall apart
He is tough and strong
I am like the batting
Soft and heart-warming
I am stuck right in the middle
But I enjoy it the most
(Refrain)
My sisters are the quilt squares
Right on top
They are very interesting
They compliment each other and the whole family
