Dreams
The waves on a beach
Coming and going
Traveling to different places
Different times at different speeds
Sometimes they go calmly and slowly
Other times, they make mistakes
And end up the wrong way
Some get confused; they can’t decide where to turn
Others just don’t see a purpose
Many just decide to follow the others,
And this doesn’t lead them anywhere
When those who fail find out what they have done,
They get angry and lonely
So they start to hurt others and pull them in
Because it is easier to watch others fail
Than to watch them succeed
These waves that are pulled in, they try to escape
Some do make it out
But others
Live on in horrible circumstances
Those that escape live on
To find a meaning
A purpose
And go on to live
Their dreams
