Rain
I travel at a constant rate of acceleration
Shivering in the heat of the rain which splays itself outside,
like a kitten´s first wild steps into a world not quite a womb.
Like this, I go into the beyond
My graph a line of increase upon increase upon
the thunder which blasts my last warning-
(the breeze blows a fresh scent into this room. I think it is spring.)
I am Orpheus and Eurydice
Watcher and watched
The joyous darkness of underworld making love to the sad music that lights the day.
(it gusts through the empty exoskeletons of all that has come to pass)
I am lacking numbers for my speed
Soon now, the music becomes many.
(I will not be able to walk the hill in this inclement weather.)
