Toys in the Attic
The mindset in not equivalent.
There is no such reality of co-existence.
Learn to lie and you learn to live.
Learn to love and you learn to die.
Contemplating just cause and personal welfare,
Ignoring the sirens.
Drowning in the ashes we try to rise above,
But the fire further buries us.
Trembling with fear we swallow our tongues,
Follow the leader, desolation sets in.
Manic episodes seem to be a way of life these days.
No more time for me to cry.
This fight could be the last,
With the proper embellishments.
