Walking Disaster
Demonic eyes searching in the night’s dark,
looking for malleable minds in children.
Evil was in my room to give remarks.
It slithered in a niche with its brethren.
I was filled with fantasy as a kid.
Chicken pocks made me delusional.
Flies came out of my mom’s hands and I hid.
I once was completely irrational.
I had stitches on my foot, head, and arm,
I was a walking disaster at five.
I climbed on a fence thinking it did no harm,
thankfully I came out of that alive.
I once was a kid with nightmares and fevers,
hopefully I will be an achiever.
