The Color Green
Green reminds me of spring
Which brings me a feeling of hope that
What soon are to be abolished
Are the rough winter storms
And how beautiful spring days
Are soon to be the norm
Flowers of all different colors will be seen
Nature will paint images that are picturesque
Cold, wintry days will be experienced less and less
It'll be a time when you no longer freeze
But instead fell the sun's warmth
Complemented with a gentle, mild breeze
You'll hear birds sing their song as they fly
In the nice and clear baby blue sky
All these images in my mind can be seen
If I just think of one thing:
The color of hope, the color green.
